James & Roxane Bybee
Roxane has experience with the corporate side of network marketing. She worked as an International Market Manager for a large direct sales company. It was during this time that Roxane recognized the power of the direct sales business model. Despite this, James and Roxane were hesitant to get involved with dōTERRA because of their previous network marketing experience.
The quality dōTERRA products quickly changed the Bybee’s outlook. Roxane says, “When I began using essential oils and they worked, I couldn’t stop talking about them.” Love of the products quickly turned into a business opportunity. James says, “The housing market crash took its toll on us financially. Because of the dōTERRA business opportunity, we don’t have to base our financial future on real estate as we did before.” dōTERRA has allowed the Bybees to take part in a cause. As leaders in dōTERRA, they are passionate about sharing the hope they found. Roxane says, “It is incredible to see others recognize this opportunity and then share and grow because they want to."
Christian Overton & Mark Ewen
Spend a little time with Chris and Mark and chances are they just might change your life. Talk about what dōTERRA has done for them, and those chances drastically increase. Neither is a stranger to network marketing, yet both Chris and Mark were impressed enough to take a chance and make a change with the dōTERRA business opportunity.
Christian managed several Marriott Hotels and reached “Top Salesman” at several different companies. Christian has created marketing tools and trainings on how to effectively build a successful organization in network marketing. As a dynamic leader and trainer, Christian is committed to helping everyone achieve success both in health and wealth. He says, “I believe that in order to have a big victory, you must have a big dream. I love working with teams and building international organizations.”Mark Ewen is a New Zealander who resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mark is an internationally-renowned network marketer, success coach, and financial and relationship marketing expert. He was first introduced to network marketing after college. Because of his experience in the industry, Mark knows firsthand what it takes to overcome life’s obstacles and succeed. He was taught from an early age the importance of owning your own life and taking control of your future. Mark emanates success to those that he coaches online, over the phone, and at public engagements.
Andy & Natalie Goddard
Early in their marriage, Natalie and Andy ran a non-profit, family-life, education institute. During this time, the Goddards moved to Cedar Hills, Utah. As a home schooling parent, Natalie was eager to find friends for her children. One day Natalie felt impressed to approach Jen Kelly. Upon learning that Natalie was interested in holistic health, Jen invited her to attend a class on dōTERRA essential oils in her home.
After experiencing dōTERRA essential oils, Natalie understood how beneficial they could be. Natalie explains, “I realized as a family life educator I needed to focus on families achieving better health before focusing on improving family relationships.” Today Natalie and Andy have a clear vision of their purpose—to provide healing in every home. Their lives have been blessed physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially because of dōTERRA, and they thrive on helping others achieve the same success.
Roger & Teresa Harding
When Teresa was first introduced to dōTERRA, she thought, “Multi-level marketing and voodoo oils—two things I won’t ever get behind.” After having a powerful experience with essential oils, Teresa realized she was wrong. The quality of the dōTERRA products drew her to the company, and she became one of the first dōTERRA consultants.
Teresa focused on the needs of others as she shared the product. This helped her become one of the first US Founders. Teresa realized that the same individuals who enjoyed the product could benefit financially from the business opportunity. She has been empowering leaders to build successful businesses. Recently Teresa’s husband, Roger, joined her efforts in building the dōTERRA business. He enjoys strategizing with and mentoring leaders while still practicing dentistry a few days a week. Teresa and Roger’s current motto for life is, “Risk more than others think safe; care more than others think wise; dream more than others think practical; and expect more than others think possible.”
Justin & Kerri Harrison
Justin and Kerri Harrison, along with their five boys, are living their dream. After resigning from his position as director of sales at a large, international network marketing company, Justin was considering a different career option. It was during this time that he received a call from Dr. David Hill, who requested he not make any decisions until they talked.
Justin discovered that Dr. Hill and other respected business professionals were going to bring a new standard of therapeutic-grade essential oils to the world. They wanted him to be their first consultant. With the support of his wife, Kerri, Justin committed their future to dōTERRA. Although this was a leap of faith, the Harrisons moved forward with confidence. Justin explained, “It was scary to leave the security, benefits, and salary of a corporate position. People thought we were crazy, but we knew it was the right move.” Both Justin and Kerri agree that the sacrifice was worth it. dōTERRA has not only provided them financial independence, but has opened up amazing opportunities for them to serve.
Brianne & Nate Hovey
Brianne and Nate Hovey have traveled the nation learning everything they can about alternative medicine and integrative nutrition. Brianne—a massage therapist, esthetician, makeup artist, and professional photographer—combines her unique skill set with her husband’s talent in holistic nutrition to create a truly special dōTERRA team.
Brianne has taught alongside some of the top educators in the skin care industry, while Nate has learned from the integrative nutrition industry’s best. Brianne knows how to connect with others and encourages others to grow and thrive in a healthier way of life. The Hoveys believe that every person is unique, and because of this, enjoy working with people on an individual basis. They love the journey dōTERRA is taking them on. Together, they incorporate their knowledge of nutrition and natural health alternatives to find health and happiness within their marriage. Their hearts reach out to those who are starving for nutritional help, and they strive to guide them to their own personal truth. Brianne shares, “We are on a mission to elevate education everywhere on alternative medicine, and hope to inspire others to take their health into their own hands.”
David & Tawnya Hsiung
David and Tawnya Hsiung grew up in Taiwan. David majored in electrical engineering and initially worked as a human resource trainer. But he eventually joined the family business—professional cosmetic sales. David and his wife, Tawnya, moved to the United States in 2001. In the US, the Hsuings formed their own company, which imported and exported professional health equipment, to aid the family business in Taiwan.
In 2009, after some persuasion, David joined dōTERRA. David became a consultant to help a friend. He didn’t plan on profiting in any way from the experience. David’s attitude changed as he experienced the quality products and the integrity of the company. It seemed natural for David and Tawnya to begin sharing dōTERRA products with their friends and family. They decided to first focus on the success of others and, as a result, their own success followed. David says, “I never want to lose the fire, so I just keep sharing with new people.”
Steven & Monica Hsiung
Steven Hsiung is no stranger to networking, hard work, and vision. Although it took a gentle push from his brother David, it didn’t take long for Steven to realize that dōTERRA is a company built on integrity. Steven explains, “I am involved in this business because I have experienced the fact that dōTERRA essential oils really do improve people’s health. Money is not my main goal.”
Steven and Monica have focused their efforts toward helping others. Steven shares, “So many of my friends have failed to receive proper health care but have found answers through dōTERRA essential oils.” Steven and his wife, Monica, have always sought to improve the lives of others, and dōTERRA has helped them achieve this goal. When asked what has allowed them to achieve such success, Steven responded, “Work hard, work hard, work hard!” And that is exactly what the Hsuings continue to do.
Jerry & Laura Jacobs
Laura’s search for natural health solutions began in her home. Laura’s success inspired her to become a holistic health practitioner and open the store Herbs for Health. As a health coach, Laura has helped thousands of people achieve wellness. Her motto is, “A Healer in Every Home.”
Laura’s previous experience allowed her to be open to the dōTERRA opportunity. Laura says, “As soon as I realized that these products were what I had been looking for, I committed. I made a list of the individuals I thought would benefit from the product or the business and began making calls.” When the income from dōTERRA surpassed the family income, Jerry was able to leave his job and join Laura. Jerry and Laura are fully dedicated to sharing dōTERRA. They love how dōTERRA essential oils empower individuals. Jerry and Laura support their team in an effort to spread the news of health and wellness with dōTERRA essential oils.
Eric & Andrea Larsen
Heads started to turn as Eric Larsen, the former CEO of a large global direct selling company, decided to become a dōTERRA distributor. Eric Larsen, who has spent more than 20 years of his career working, consulting, and growing direct selling companies is convinced that dōTERRA is poised to be one of the “great ones”. Eric first heard of dōTERRA while working for another network marketing company. He was tracking the progress of other competitive companies and was blown away by dōTERRA’s rising success.
He was certainly intrigued by the company’s mission to share Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils with the world. After meeting with dōTERRA’s executives, Eric decided to sign as an Independent Product Consultant and partnered with Justin Harrison, dōTERRA’s Founding Master Distributor. Eric’s experience reaches far beyond the United States. Together with his wife, Andrea, and their three children, they have lived abroad in Toronto, Hong Kong, Taipei, Mexico City, Amsterdam, and Tokyo. Eric believes his most important role is as a husband and father. Andrea has supported Eric as they travelled abroad, and she continues to support him in dōTERRA. Both Eric and Andrea love dōTERRA oils and use them on a daily basis.
