Jerry & Brandi Burdine
Brandi Burdine knows she could never have succeeded in her dōTERRA business without her husband, Jerry. "My husband has been supportive since day one," explains Brandi. "He has always believed in me. He knows I'm a businesswoman, and he trusts that it's going to work. He also loved the oils from the beginning." Jerry was working double shifts when Brandi started her dōTERRA business. Today, he is able to spend more time at home with the kids, which helps Brandi when she travels or has events.
When she was first introduced to essential oils, Brandi experienced some amazing results. She went full force after that and reached Diamond in less than a year. Brandi never takes excuses from her leaders. She built her business while her husband worked two full-time jobs, she had four kids at home, and they didn't have a car. "If I can do it with all that, anyone can do it." Brandi is so excited about dōTERRA products and the business opportunity that she has no trouble sharing it with those around her.
James & Roxane Bybee US Founder
Roxane has experience with the corporate side of network marketing. She worked as an International Market Manager for a large direct sales company. It was during this time that Roxane recognized the power of the direct sales business model. Despite this, James and Roxane were hesitant to get involved with dōTERRA because of their previous network marketing experience.
The quality dōTERRA products quickly changed the Bybee’s outlook. Roxane says, “When I began using essential oils and they worked, I couldn’t stop talking about them.” Love of the products quickly turned into a business opportunity. James says, “The housing market crash took its toll on us financially. Because of the dōTERRA business opportunity, we don’t have to base our financial future on real estate as we did before.” dōTERRA has allowed the Bybees to take part in a cause. As leaders in dōTERRA, they are passionate about sharing the hope they found. Roxane says, “It is incredible to see others recognize this opportunity and then share and grow because they want to."
Christian Overton & Mark Ewen
Spend a little time with Chris and Mark and chances are they just might change your life. Talk about what dōTERRA has done for them, and those chances drastically increase. Neither is a stranger to network marketing, yet both Chris and Mark were impressed enough to take a chance and make a change with the dōTERRA business opportunity.
Christian managed several Marriott Hotels and reached “Top Salesman” at several different companies. Christian has created marketing tools and trainings on how to effectively build a successful organization in network marketing. I love working with teams and building international organizations.” Mark Ewen is a New Zealander who resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. Because of his experience in the industry, Mark knows firsthand what it takes to overcome life’s obstacles and succeed. He was taught from an early age the importance of owning your own life and taking control of your future. Scott & Rhonda Ford
Scott and Rhonda have resided in Nashville, Tennessee for the past eleven year. Rhonda taught Elementary School for seven years, followed by two years as a High School Counselor, and has had her own fundraising business working with dozens of schools and businesses. Most recently, she has been a successful realtor in Nashville but her real passion is educating and helping others learn about alternative health and well being.
Scott, Rhonda's husband, has recently joined her full time with their dōTERRA business. Scott is a former contractor of twenty years and has jumped in partnering with Rhonda hosting events and helping to build the business. dōTERRA is their life passion and sharing the healing power of essential oils is the main focus of that passion. Rhonda was born and raised in a family that was dedicated to health and nutrition. Her mother has always been ahead of the curve when it came to understanding the importance of physical and mental well being. Scott and Rhonda were regular users of essential oils prior to discovering dōTERRA, so when the opportunity presented itself, it was a natural fit. Roger & Teresa Harding US Founder
When Teresa was first introduced to dōTERRA, she thought, “Multi-level marketing and voodoo oils - two things I won’t ever get behind.” After having a powerful experience with essential oils, Teresa realized she was wrong. The quality of the dōTERRA products drew her to the company, and she became one of the first dōTERRA consultants.
Teresa focused on the needs of others as she shared the product. This helped her become one of the first US Founders. Teresa realized that the same individuals who enjoyed the product could benefit financially from the business opportunity. She has been empowering leaders to build successful businesses. Recently Teresa’s husband, Roger, joined her efforts in building the dōTERRA business. He enjoys strategizing with and mentoring leaders while still practicing dentistry a few days a week. Teresa and Roger’s current motto for life is, “Risk more than others think safe; care more than others think wise; dream more than others think practical; and expect more than others think possible.”
John & Melyna Harrison
The Harrisons were introduced to dōTERRA by Brianne Hovey and Allyse Sedivy. Although Melyna had worked as a massage therapist, she didn't know much about essential oils besides the fact that they smelled nice. However, when Brianne and Allyse explained dōTERRA's business plan and how essential oils were helping families, Melyna knew she wanted to work with them.
“I could tell Brianne and Allyse were strong leaders," Melyna said. “Brianne and Allyse would have done dōTERRA without us, but I don’t know if we would have joined dōTERRA as quickly as we did without them.” Within a few weeks, Melyna read the entire Modern Essentials book and began attending every class she could. She certainly didn’t know everything about essential oils, but she started sharing them anyways. “I relied on the Modern Essentials book and my up-line to help teach me as I taught others.” Melyna explained. Originally John & Melyna viewed dōTERRA as a hobby that would bring Melyna great satisfaction and possibly help supplement John’s income. They never dreamed it would be able to replace John’s income and bring him home. However, only a few years after joining dōTERRA John has been able to quit his job and now enjoys helping Melyna build their dōTERRA business.
Shane & Rebecca Hintze
Between telecommunications, broadcast journalism, and family sciences both Shane and Rebecca have been busy making their mark. Rebecca, an advocate of self-help and family health, found that essential oils complimented her teaching perfectly. Although she never thought she would promote dōTERRA as a business, she couldn’t hide her passion for the products! In the beginning she found herself signing people up without even realizing she was building a business.
Now Shane and Rebecca Hintze have started a dōTERRA movement along the East Coast of the United States. Each Sunday in church members of their local congregation fight to sit by the Hintze family because they love the smell of essential oils. Rebecca says, “When you pair a heart full of conviction and belief with detailed planning, you can accomplish anything.” There is no stopping the Hintzes’ growth because they understand what it takes to be truly successful.
Paul & Betsy Holmes
Both Paul and Betsy have always had a passion for traveling the world. They have been to over 70 countries combined, but came back to the states primarily for Betsy to finish her massage therapy license. Paul studied in South Africa and received his degree in exercise physiology, a field he is passionate about. In America, Paul became a personal trainer and then later opened his own specialized training facility. Betsy helped support their family financially early in their marriage, but was then able to leave the work force to embrace her dream of being a stay-at-home mom.
Although Betsy was thrilled to be staying home with her children, her health was getting in the way of truly enjoying life. She was suffering from three chronic auto-immune diseases, and the medication she was given kept her in a downward spiral and she never felt like she was getting better. When Betsy was introduced to essential oils she found what she needed to get her health and life back. As Betsy started to use the oils in her home, she couldn’t help but share her positive experiences with others. Before she knew it, her organization was growing. She started to look at the compensation plan and realized that if she became intentional with her efforts, she really could grow her business. Betsy says, “Everyday with dōTERRA won’t be easy, but when we rely on one another, teach one another, and strengthen one another, we will all grow upwards in success.”
Nate & Brianne Hovey
Brianne and Nate Hovey have traveled the nation learning everything they can about alternative medicine and integrative nutrition. Brianne is a massage therapist, esthetician, makeup artist, and professional photographer. Brianne’s unique skill set combined with her husband’s talent in holistic nutrition to create a truly special dōTERRA team.
Brianne has taught alongside some of the top educators in the skin care industry, while Nate learned from some of the integrative nutrition industry’s best. Brianne knows how to connect with others and encourages others to grow and thrive in a healthier way of life. The Hoveys believe that every person is unique, and because of this, enjoy working with people on an individual basis. They love the journey dōTERRA is taking them on. Together, they incorporate their knowledge of nutrition and natural health alternatives to find health and happiness within their marriage. Their hearts reach out to those who are starving for nutritional help, and they strive to guide them to their own personal truth. Brianne shares, “We are on a mission to elevate education everywhere on alternative medicine, and hope to inspire others to take their health into their own hands.”

Laura’s search for natural health solutions began in her home. Laura’s success inspired her to become a holistic health practitioner and open the store Herbs for Health. As a health coach, Laura has helped thousands of people achieve wellness. Her motto is, “A Healer in Every Home.”
Laura’s previous experience allowed her to be open to the dōTERRA opportunity. Laura says, “As soon as I realized that these products were what I had been looking for, I committed. I made a list of the individuals I thought would benefit from the product or the business and began making calls.” When the income from dōTERRA surpassed the family income, Jerry was able to leave his job and join Laura. Jerry and Laura are fully dedicated to sharing dōTERRA. They love how dōTERRA essential oils empower individuals. Jerry and Laura support their team in an effort to spread the news of health and wellness with dōTERRA essential oils.
Kyle & Kierston Kirschbaum
Kyle and Kierston met in Las Vegas. Prior to meeting his wife, Kyle attended Brigham Young University where he received a degree in Business Management. Kierston attended school in San Diego and had also received a degree in Business Management. In Las Vegas, Kyle owned and operated an internet marketing firm while Kierston was involved in real estate. Life seemed consistent and dependable for the Kirschbaums. They never expected that one day everything would shift dramatically - but it did.
Kyle’s business abruptly went south leaving Kyle and Kierston feeling stranded. While Allyse Sedivy was in Las Vegas she sought out Kierston. Allyse hoped to offer advice and hope. Kierston said, “She taught me that even though I was six months pregnant, broke, and depressed, I had an opportunity to help my family. She turned my situation around and motivated a very pregnant woman to grow a dōTERRA business.” That experience, combined with dōTERRA’s 2011 Convention and the 2012 Leadership Retreat, helped Kierston develop her vision. Once she gained that vision, there was no turning back.
Kai-Hsun Kuo & Pei Ling Su TWN Founder
Kai Hsun and Pei Ling were already familiar with essential oils before they were introduced to dōTERRA. That experience had taught them that the purity and the price of essential oils are tied together—a higher quality oil meant that the price would also be higher. Despite this lesson, however, when they found dōTERRA, they discovered that not only could you have a high quality oil, you could also have it at a reasonable price. This combination of high quality and a reasonable price has made it easy for Kai Hsun and Pei Ling to share dōTERRA.
Before the Taiwan market officially opened, Kai Hsun and Pei Ling were already sharing dōTERRA oils. They always carried Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint oils with them just in case they came across an opportunity to share. With just these three oils, they have been able to sign up many people. Just by inviting their friends to experience the oils for themselves, Kai Hsun and Pei Ling were able to build a strong team in in less than a month. Both Kai Hsun and Pei Ling are thankful for dōTERRA and the quality of dōTERRA products. They’re especially grateful for the good health and improvement in the quality of life that their friends and family are enjoying because of dōTERRA. KC & Jessica Moultrie
Jessica Moultrie experienced big changes in her family because of dōTERRA essential oils. But it wasn't until Jessica saw that building a dōTERRA business could allow her to escape the corporate world and be back home with her family, without sacrificing her income, that she became interested in the business. Today, as she builds her business, Jessica tries to find mothers who have that same dream. "My target audience is strong women who have business backgrounds and want a different option that allows them to be home with their family."
She always makes sure to sit down with her team members one-on-one to "help them find their fire." Jessica says, "I think that vision is critical to having the perseverance to stick with dōTERRA. It's important to have that solid clarity of vision that you want to establish for yourself, for your family, and for others." Once her team knows their vision, she doesn't have to motivate them "they motivate themselves. If you can work with people to help them discover that clarity for themselves, then they're on fire and all you're doing is trying to inspire them along the way."
Cheng Hui Liu & Pei Chih Yi TWN Founder
Jeff & Diane Shephard
Diane began her dōTERRA journey as a product user but was reluctant to pursue the business opportunity. Having worked in direct sales for years, Diane was frustrated with the industry and did not want to become involved again. But when she found out what the average Diamond dōTERRA consultant was making, her attitude changed. Diane exclaimed, "This was the part that I was missing in the other company. I had worked ten years for very little and there were individuals in dōTERRA hitting Diamond in what was comparatively very little time."
Diane began hosting classes and was amazed at the response. She said, "People actually wanted the oils and asked me about the business. That was huge! It was something I hadn't experienced anywhere else." Each small victory encouraged Diane to push for greater success. With the goal to hit Diamond, she made the difficult decision to close her piano studio and join Diamond Club. Diane said, "It was a huge risk. I wasn't making enough to cover the income I received from teaching piano. However, those four months really pushed my business to the next level." Diane is now a huge advocate of believing in yourself, working hard, and never giving up.
Jim & Tammy Stephens
Jim and Tammy have always believed in personal responsibility. After researching dōTERRA's products, culture, and meeting with top leaders and the Executive Team, the Stephens decided to join dōTERRA. Tammy said, "The business is a perfect fit and an intense training ground for who I want to become. It offers me a practical place for serving others with boldness, as I share with them the value of essential oils." Tammy and Jim feel that a leader's job is to serve. They said, "Our dōTERRA community owes us nothing, it's our responsibility to reach out and meet a person where they're at."
Jim and Tammy believe that your team is your greatest asset and nothing is accomplished in this business without working together. To reach Diamond they suggest that you, "choose who you mentor by focusing on those who are coachable, mentoring others, and duplicating themselves." Jim and Tammy understand that people create volume and build networks, but only if they are encouraged and educated. Tammy said, "Love them forward, but don't allow them to make excuses. As we learn to lead, our example will enable others to do the same."
James & Chelsea Stevens
James and Chelsea Stevens grew up performing. James says, “I have always been a performer - I grew up singing with my family. I performed in musicals, choirs, and have always been drawn to writing and composing.” James and Chelsea believe that music has carried them through and given them direction in life.
During a difficult time, Chelsea began researching natural health and nutrition. Because of her interest in health, she was open to dōTERRA essential oils. James and Chelsea began using them in the home, but never thought about building a business until approached by their up line. Chelsea says, “They helped us catch the vision of what our health and financial status could be.” dōTERRA has provided the Stevens with new opportunities. It has empowered them to take control of their health and has freed them financially to pursue their musical dreams.
Kacie was introduced to dōTERRA after the oils helped her son recover from a serious ear infection. However, she purposely ignored the business opportunity despite purchasing both the Premium and the Diamond Kits. Kacie said, "Ultimately, I realized that essential oils were changing our lives so profoundly that dōTERRA was optional, but absolutely necessary for us and for every home."

Jared & Sheree Winger
When Jared discovered dōTERRA in the summer of 2008, he was intrigued with the reputation of the company’s founders. He sat down with them for hours and asked hard, direct questions. He remembers, “They never once tried to get me to join. They just told me to try the oils.” Intrigued, Jared purchased a few oils and took them home to his family.
The Wingers had always been inclined to live a healthy lifestyle and essential oils seemed to fit right in. As Jared watched how effective the oils were in his own home, he began considering the business opportunity of dōTERRA. He knew that between the integrity of the owners and the rewarding compensation plan, he could be successful. Sheree loves seeing Jared happy as he works to build their business each day. Jared has found the job satisfaction he has been searching for with dōTERRA. Jared realizes that building a dōTERRA business takes consistency and dedication, but the reward is well worth the investment. dōTERRA has given him the flexibility and freedom to manage his time and spend more time with his family.
Kevin & Natalie Wysocki
Natalie Wysocki loved dōTERRA essential oils from the moment she was introduced to them and wanted all of them right away. But at first, she didn't want to get involved with the business aspect. She says, "I dug my heels in for about a month because of the multi-level aspect of the company." Today, that's her favorite part. "I love that you can work with people who are your family and friends. If they're not your friends to start with, they will be."
Natalie's favorite product to sell is the Natural Solutions kit, and she sells it by teaching classes on how to do a medicine cabinet makeover. She has consultants who are just starting out come visit her classes. She has new consultants make a list of family and friends and then set up their own class. "I make sure to keep my attitude really positive and encouraging. I don't bring any negativity to the table at all and it makes a huge difference." She believes she's achieved Diamond by truly caring about everyone's success, not just her own. "I feel like I'm good at making people feel cared about - because I do care."
